As a quick bit of introduction, I was born in 1972. I am an American, a die-hard Patriot, and a die-hard Libertarian. I am a Polytheist and I am very religious, though I won’t force my religion down your throat. I’m a gun lover who is no longer allowed to carry a gun because I am a former felon. My past felony of over 10 years ago also keeps me out of Canada. Yes, I am very bitter about not having recovered my rights and privileges when I paying my debt to society.

I live in southern New Hampshire, in a low-income, multi-ethnic neighborhood. I went to college at Daniel Webster College and studied Aviation Management/Flight Operations but left after four years with an Associates of Science in General Studies. I miss flying, but cannot afford to return to it at this time. Due to happenings while I was still under investigation for the felony mentioned above, I was banned from setting foot on my alma mater and I am bitter about that, too. The head of security there was a prick. Glad at last check he is no longer with the college. But my ban has not been recalled.

As you may have gathered, I am trying (and have been for at least the last 10 years or so) to live a good life. I try to do the right thing and live as fully as I possibly can. I try to plan for the future while living each day as if it were my last. I do my best to live honorably, though I do make mistakes. I’m not perfect.

I am a lover without a lover. I am a heterosexual, polyamorous male among a group of largely GLBT friends. I long for passion, but every time I have fallen love in the past it has been unrequited. I have not given up though. I have only become more jaded and cautious — some would go as far as to call me cynical. I flirt. I have been accused of being a tease, but I’m not. Teases make promises they don’t keep. I make no promises in flirting. I just aim to please. If I have put a smile on your face, then I have succeeded.

Welcome to this, yet another of my web sites. I hope you will find something to inspire, entertain, or at least pass the time.

I’m sure many of you think it’s a pretty far fetched pipe dream.  Fine.  But I don’t.  Granted, it is a huge undertaking, but just because I don’t know exactly how I am to accomplish it, doesn’t mean I am not going to put forth monumental effort. 

A part of my plan is to not only be *a* sanctuary, but to be a *hub* for other sanctuaries as well: a place for people, groups and those who create and maintain these sacred places to gather (online or in person), share information, pool resources, and hopefully, give and receive mutual aid.

They say fine wines get better with age, but Eartha was more like a rocket – Higher and brighter every moment until Christmas, 2008, when she finally broke through and left this place.

We’ll miss you, Cat Woman!

Many of my friends have heard me relay stories my uncle told me.  He lives a rather full life, and before the cancer, had been in a happy retirement.  He served in the USMC  as an EOD specialist with a combat tour in Korea and two Vietnam.   As an E-9 he had passed up promotion (“the hard way”) to O-1 twice.  After 20 years of service, he retired from the Marines and joined the U.S. Secret Service.  If memory serves me, he was a Presidential body guard for every US President from Johnson to Clinton, though his primary task from Reagan onward was Chief Munitions Countermeasures.  He was present when Reagan was shot, and maintained he was the one driving the limo.  He retired from the US Secret Service during the Clinton administration, after 20 years, collecting a second government pension.

He was another strong influence on my early years and will be sorely missed by many people from former presidents to one lowly ex-con trying to make a good living.
